Keep track of how often you "sell" someone during the school day (or any day). How often do you talk to someone about a new idea you have in hopes that they'll want to do it with you ...or for you? How often do you tell someone about a book you read, a movie or show you watched, a food you ate, a place you went, a game you played, etc? These are all moments of "selling". How many of those "sales pitches" did you "close"?
Questioning Method
How big is your beach or do you only have a sandbox? What are some good questions you can ask to have more successful conversations? What are some questions that you wish others would ask you more often? How does this connect to the lessons we learned about Conflict Resolution? How would the questions you ask change when you think about what their Personality Type is? |
Thinking on those "sales" you made during the day, did you use any of the "Making People Want To..." steps from the Leading page? Which step do you think was most effect in making your "sale"?
